My name is Debbie Ray, and I have over 35 years of experience with this wonderful dog breed. I got my first German Shepherd when I was around 10 or so. Since that time I have almost always been owned by several German Shepherds. I have lived with them, bred them and been owned by them in literally every phase of their lives, from puppy to senior citizen, while they were healthy and while they were sick too. And all of these past experiences with my own German Shepherds has given me an insight into the breed that few have.
